CILLA - ABOUT US - MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Cayman Islands Little League Association (CILLA) is to establish, and conduct recreational baseball and softball programs for the benefit of children.

CILLA provides an outlet of healthy activity and training with good leadership in an atmosphere of wholesome community participation in a safe, age appropriate system.

CILLA strives to establish the values of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and fair play and members must keep in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games, while also a benefit, is secondary. All adult participants, including managers, coaches, umpires and parents, must behave at games and practices on and off the field in a manner that is positive, charitable and sportsmanlike.

We at CILLA honor the belief that first and foremost these leagues exist for the benefit of the kids. It is very important that every child enjoys the program and completes the season with a feeling of high self-esteem. Remember, it is the volunteers and the parents who must take the initiative to make the Cayman Island Little League programs successful.
